I am a young man from the Mugello Valley, north of Florence. The surroundings of my town offer breath-taking night views in the typical Tuscany hills, and that is why I usually go out at night and take pictures of the Milky Way and the Mugellean fields.
I have always had the urge to portray everything surrounding me, to stop the time so as to get the best of the moment. As I was growing up, I started feeling that photography could help me in it.
All through adolescence, I never stopped learning and trying new techniques following my instinct and the best photographers of the past, such as Ansel Adams and Sebastião Salgado, and our contemporaries Marc Adamus and Alex Noriega.
I am now a student of the well-regarded Libera Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence.
“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”
